Seeds, SProuts, then RootED
Seeds start very small, yet one day, with growth will yield a harvest of something bigger with deeper roots. The harvest we are looking forward to at Recalibrate is a generation of passionate, whole, loving and powerful leaders. Those who live the Word as Jesus did.
There is no Junior Holy SPirit.
Our desire for Children’s Ministry is rooted in the belief that they do not possess a junior, smaller Holy Spirit, rather that they possess the same, living, powerful God just like us.
Our children need to learn to be a part of something bigger than themselves. It is our hope that the seeds they allow to grow in their hearts are parallel to the seeds of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5.
Seeds Nursery
Toddlers 1-3 yrs
We engage children in Biblical stories, worship time and make sure we create an environment where children can play with Jesus. Prayer and Worship are a very important part of Seeds! We pray for snack and take all opportunities to pray for each other.
Sprouts Kids
Children 4-7 yrs
Church should be a blast! Kids are figuring things out and asking the BIG questions. We’re all about leading them to Jesus (the source of faith and fun!), teaching them real-deal foundational Bible truths, and helping them discover Gods Awesome Goodness.
Rooted Kids
Children 8-13 yrs
This class is about faith in ACTION! Adventuring into the deeper meanings of the word and connecting with Jesus in the deeper parts of our hearts.
On earth as it is in heaven for all ages.
Get ready for a faith adventure! We’re helping kids discover God’s love and learn how to follow Jesus. From fun events to engaging lessons, we’re all about inspiring kids to live out their faith.
Rooted in Jesus
Foundational Faith & Truth of Scripture: We are building lives on the unshakeable foundation of Jesus Christ, rooted deeply in the inspired and authoritative Word of God, which is our ultimate source of truth and guidance.
Knowing and Loving Jesus: We strive to cultivate a personal and passionate relationship with Jesus in each child, emphasizing His love, grace, saving power, and guiding them to seek His wisdom through prayer and the Holy Spirit.
KNowing and Being Known by Jesus
Nurturing Spiritual Growth: We create a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children can freely explore their faith, ask questions, and grow spiritually, prioritizing personal and family growth as the foundation for effective ministry.
Prayer and Worship: We prioritize creating vibrant opportunities for children of all ages to connect with God through prayer and worship, fostering a heart that seeks Him.
Living Out Our Faith in Community
Walking in Love, Humility, Authenticity, and Honesty: We are committed to demonstrating God’s love in all our interactions, fostering a community built on kindness, compassion, humility, genuine faith, and truthful communication.
Vulnerability, Healing, and Brave Communication: We strive to create a safe space for vulnerability and healing, encouraging children to communicate with courage and kindness, speaking truth in love.
Honoring Leadership, Values, and Protecting Hearts: We teach children to respect and honor church leadership and our core values, fostering a culture of trust and care by actively discouraging gossip and protecting each other’s hearts.
Joyful Participation, Generous Giving, and Service: We believe every child has a vital role to play and encourage active, joyful participation and generous giving into God’s work, expressing our faith through service within the church community.
Putting Growth into Practice and Walking in True Identity: We emphasize the importance of applying biblical truths to real life, encouraging children to “practice what they preach” and to live confidently in their true identity as saints, loved and accepted by God.
Boldness in the Spirit and Love for Familyhood: We encourage children to step out in faith, explore their spiritual gifts with boldness, and show love, respect, and care for all members of our church family.
